Violence down, Sanctions also down!

Figures released last week on the NHS Business Services Authority’s website show that violence against health staff seems to be on the wane in Cambridgeshire overall, however of the 324 reported attacks, only one appears to have been followed through successfully in that a sanction (unspecified) was given.

Addenbrooke's Hospital Admin and Clerical Staff

The convenor for this sector is currently vacant.

Carole Proctor who was the convenor has now left to become a Regional Officer at our Region looking after the lifelong learning projects - congratualtions Carole!

However that has left us with a gap in the Branch.  Reps will be looking into electing a new convenor in December time 2009, so if you have any recomendations speak to your local rep

As with any section of the Branch the Convenor is assisted by several activists on Life Long Learning, Health & Safety, Equalities or Steward roles, currently these are;
