National Delegate Conference

This is the big one - A four day confernce with countless fringe meetings and reps from all areas makes for one big UNISON crowd!
Almost anything is disussed by reps at varying meetings, and there is usually hundreds of motions to go through - unfortunately this does mean some will get missed.
Our Branch like all others makes sure we attend UNISON's main conference because we want to make sure that our members voice is added to UNISON policies

UNISON HCA Conference

For: All Healthcare Assistants
Description:
Entitled A Picture of Health - Healthcare Assistants in Tomorrow's NHS, the conference will hear from a range of keynote speakers, including UNISON general secretary Dave Prentis, a Minister of State for Health, UNISON head of nursing Gail Adams and Open University Dean Shirley Reveley, covering a varied programme of issues, such as registration of HCAs, access to education, duty of care and emerging roles. Time will also be set aside for a panel discussion and plenty of contributions from delegates.

LGBT Member's Conference
